Two construction features

The Euro-slot holds the pack on a hook. The adhesive flap closes the bag mouth after filling; its release liner is removed before bonding. Each feature has a separate purpose.

No. This bag closes with an adhesive flap; the slot is for hanging. Closure properties are agreed separately.
